Sun Tolerant Moss – Moss for Sunny Areas

For years we have had requests from people with sunnier locations for sun tolerant mosses. Moss Acres is now able to offer a sun tolerant variety of moss for sunnier areas – Bryum caespiticium. It also does well in shade – so it is very versatile.

This moss prefers a more alkaline substrate, but will tolerate most any type of soil. It is available in small fragments (milkshake) or whole live clumps! To keep it looking lush, it should be watered, but if not it will still typically survive sunnier locations – it just gets browner and dried out during dry spells.
